A work titled "moment" about lost and flowing time. Two versions, night and day, combined into one complete piece.
These two paintings depict the same landscape at different moments and emotional tones. The first painting reflects a scene at night. In this composition dominated by dark colors, the interplay of light and shadow creates a mysterious and calm atmosphere. The non-figurative forms and contrasting colors reveal a tranquility and ambiguity unique to the night. The second painting shows a moment in daylight. I’m Selma Nur, an artist from İzmir, and my work is focused on exploring the depths of the human soul and individual perceptions through painting. Currently studying Fine Arts at Ege University, I aim to convey empathy and diverse perspectives in my creations. Using color and form, I guide the viewer on an emotional journey, touching on both social and psychological themes. Each piece reflects my personal experiences and inner world, providing a meaningful connection for the audience. For me, art is a way to express personal awareness and empathy in a powerful, authentic way. I’m dedicated to creating unique and relaxed pieces every day, always striving to grow as an artist.

Ege Üniversitesi Resim Öğretmenliği öğrencisi olarak, sanatımda empatiyi ve farklı bakış açılarını ifade etmeyi amaçlıyorum. Çalışmalarımda renkler ve formlar aracılığıyla izleyiciyi duygusal bir yolculuğa çıkarırken, toplumsal ve psikolojik temalarla da derinlemesine ilgileniyorum. Her bir eserim, kişisel deneyimlerimi ve içsel dünyamı tuvalde somutlaştırarak, izleyicilere anlamlı bir deneyim sunmayı hedefliyor. Sanatım, bireysel farkındalık ve empatiyi anlamlı bir şekilde ifade etmek için bir araçtır. Her gün daha özgün ve rahat resimler yapmaya çalışarak, sanatsal gelişimime devam ediyorum.
