About the Artist
İzmir'de doğdu. Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Makine Resim Konstrüksiyon ardından Anadolu Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi İşletme Bölümünü bitirdi. Uzun yıllar süren özel sektördeki tasarım, ürün yaratımı, işletme yöneticiliği görevlerini sürdürdüğü çalışma hayatını, 2013 yılında çocukluk tutkusu olan sanatla sürdürmeye ve kendini buna adamaya karar verdi.
İlk zamanlar kendi kendine başlayan desen çalışmalarının ardından, birkaç farklı atölye ve eğitmenden dersler alarak kendi tekniğini oluşturmaya başladı. Aldığı resim, seramik, çini ve linol baskı eğitimleriyle farklı teknikleri birleştirme hayalini sürekli içinde taşıyor.
Kendini sürekli geliştirme, sürekli yeni şeyler öğrenip kendine ve yarattıklarına değer katmanın peşini hiç bırakmıyor.
Çoğunlukla insan yüzleri ve figürler üzerinde çalışmayı seviyor. İnsan yüzünün, özellikle gözlerin verdiği ifade ve duygu heyecan veriyor. Bu ifade ve duyguları tuvale, kağıda, kartona, seramiğe, taşa hatta bazen bir ceviz kabuğu üzerine işlemekten aldığı keyfi paylaşmayı da seviyor. Yanı sıra diğer konuları da işleyerek kendini ve sanatını besliyor.
Resimlerinde çoğunlukla yağlıboya kullanmayı tercih etse de bazen akrilik boya, bazen suluboya ve guaj boya, bazen renkli ya da karakalem de işin içine giriyor.
Bugüne kadar birçok karma sergide ve aktif olarak yer almaya devam ediyor. İlk kişisel sergisi pandemi dönemine denk gelince iptal oldu, ancak en kısa zamanda bu planı gerçekleştirmeyi umuyor. 2025'te İzmir Sanat Fuarında yer aldı.
Başka insanların hayatlarına, yaşam alanlarına eserleriyle renk ve keyif katma düşüncesi en büyük motivasyon kaynaklarından biri.
Eserlerini "içimden geldiği gibi" diye tanımlamayı seviyor. Tasarımcılık geçmişinden gelen yaratıcılık fikrinin hazzını, güzel sanatlar alanında sürdürüyor.
Çalışmalarına İzmir’de home-studio'sunda devam ediyor.
