The artist has used embroidery and acrylic techniques together in her work, making small holes in the painted canvas and embroidering cotton threads by hand. The embroidered eye in the work represents the invisible viewer, referring to the digital footprint. Nowadays, there are very few places where we are not observed and recorded. Especially when using the internet, visiting online pages, sharing on social media, shopping online, or using email, users leave behind a digital footprint, also known as a digital shadow. In this way, online applications collect the user's personal information and data. The intertwined colorful houses in the work present a harmonious and welcoming neighborhood life, while also conveying insecurity, uncanniness, and intervention due to the invisible observer.

About the Artist
The artist holds a Master's degree in Painting from Hacı Bayram Veli University, Ankara, Türkiye. She works as a Ceramics Teacher at the Ministry of National Education. Her areas of interest include Pop Surrealism, the Lowbrow Art Movement, and experimental illustration. Her experimental works combine elements of popular culture and nature with surrealist embroidery and other experimental or traditional techniques on paper, denim fabric and canvas. Her works are exhibited in art galleries (Sanatçı Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli Üniversitesi Resim Anasanat Dalı Yüksek Lisans programı mezunudur. MEB'de Seramik Öğretmeni olarak çalışmaktadır. İlgi alanları, Pop Sürrealizm ve Lowbrow Sanat Hareketi ile deneysel illüstrasyondur. Sanatçının deneysel çalışmaları, popüler kültür ve doğa öğelerini sürrealist nakış işlemeleri ve diğer deneysel veya geleneksel tekniklerle kâğıt, denim kumaşı ve tuval üzerinde birleştirmektedir. Eserleri sanat galerilerinde izleyicilerle buluşmaktadır).
