Behind every woman, there is a wall.
It is thought to be invisible; yet it touches, limits, suppresses.
It is woven with silence, plastered with tradition, painted with fear.
This painting does not depict that wall—it passes through it.
Behind the wall, there is not only suppression;
there is also resistance, memory, and deep-rooted wisdom.
Women grow, survive, tell, and wait behind the wall:
One day, the day when the brush, the word, the action
will crack the walls like stone.
When I painted this painting, I called not only my own voice, but also the unheard.
Every color that pierces that wall is a woman's breath.
Confrontation, anger, mourning, and rebirth.
“Behind the Wall” is not just an image,
it is a place of memory.
And no woman—no identity—has to hide behind that wall anymore.
Because as long as we are visible,
the walls come down.

About the Artist
For me, art is not merely expression; it is a form of liberation, resistance, and making the invisible visible. Each layer
echoes the voices of women silenced throughout history.
My understanding of art is to fly and never land on earth. Because freedom lies beyond borders, in that boundless
space freed from gravity.
I depict the multilayered state of being a woman: a veil covering a wound, a hidden cry, or light overflowing
from memory… Each of my works transcends an individual narrative and rewrites the collective female memory.
Art cannot be liberated without women being liberated. My practice is based on giving voice to the silent, eyes
to the invisible, and a voice to the silenced. Because both art and life multiply with women. And I speak from
within that multiplication.
