I am dreamin’ the dreaming.
It is not the picture I see,
but the echo of a picture,
a shadow rising from the silence of my mind.
I don’t see what I paint,
and yet my hands move
as if guided by invisible stars,
as if the canvas were breathing
with its own secret desire.
I am quite fond of imagining it—
the half-formed strokes,
the colors that bloom only inside me,
the shapes that vanish
the moment I turn to look.
It feels like walking in a wormhole:
time bends,
space folds into itself,
and I am carried—
not forward, not back,
but inward,
into the dream of the dream.
