Başıbozuk, a series by Yasemin Töre, is a visual response to the speed, uncertainty, and loss of identity imposed by urban life. Created using acrylic and oil on canvas, the works feature figures whose heads are obscured by clouds and smoke — symbols of mental burden, repressed emotions, and scattered focus. These blurred identities reflect individuals lost in the chaos of modern life — alike yet alone, blending into the crowd. Each figure offers a familiar touch to the viewer: Perhaps it's you, perhaps it's me.
