Manifesto: “Seyrin Kırmızı Noktası” Manifesto; “The Red Dot of the Journey” “Red Memories: The Inner Stage” “The Refraction of Light” “The Self from the Perspective of the Spectators” This work, as part of the "Red Memories" series, aims to make the inner scene of memory visible. The figure in the painting is presented in the center of the light, wrapped and surrounded by red ties. His body is perhaps wrapped in fragility, perhaps in the past; but his face is turned inward. It is the embodied state of remembering. The golden rays carry not the weight of the past, but its light. However, this light does not reach the audience directly. They are in the dark, in the position of the audience. Each figure represents another me watching. This scene does not show the reflection of what is happening inside in the outside world - on the contrary - it questions the transfer of the inner world to the stage. This picture is not a show. This picture is our own state of being that is being watched. Red ribbons are not only ties - they are also veins of memories. Each embrace is another way of touching the past.

About the Artist

Birsen Çakar was born on January 26, 1997, in Osmaniye. After graduating from Trakya University with a degree in art education, she continued her artistic journey by developing her own unique narrative style. To her, art is not just an aesthetic pursuit, but also a silent and sincere exploration of the human soul. Her works often feature figures with blurred faces and undefined identities. She does not believe that emotions, pain, grief, or longing have a specific identity, which is why her figures have blurred faces and undefined identities. She aims to touch on universal emotions and create a shared emotional world with which everyone can identify. She enjoys combining oil paint, pastel, and various other techniques in her work. She also continues to produce digital art. Each technique reveals a different aspect of the emotion she wants to convey. The hands, shoulders, embraces, and touches in her figures are like silently spoken sentences. The absence of faces is not a deficiency, but rather provides viewers with a space to project their own stories. . . . . .
